STS Odissi & Creative Dance Workshop

In Kolkata, we are organising the Sound To Silence Art & Music Hub powered Odissi & Creative Dance Workshop 2025 for 2 days (Sundays), on 24th August 2025 & 14th September 2025, by master teacher Odissi Exponent Smt. Koyeli Chatterjee, near Ruby Hospital – 700107.
This workshop is open to all age groups, and for all levels.

10:30 am to 10:45 am – ENTRY & ATTENDANCE
10:45 am to 11:00 am – INTRODUCTION
11:00 am to 12:00 pm – ODISSI
12:00 pm to 12:15 pm – Break
12:15 pm to 1:15 pm – CREATIVE
1:15 pm to 1:30 pm – FOOD & CERTIFICATION

Below 10 years – Salwar Kameez (dupatta) must
Above 10 years – Half Sari / Salwar Kameez

Where can we buy the Half Sari? If Online?
Please wear Half Sari if you have or can arrange it. Not compulsory, if you have it, please bring and wear it. If you cannot arrange a Half Sari, you can wear a Salwar Kameez instead.Is this course for me, as I have never tried Odissi before, but I enjoy dancing?
It’s a course for everybody who loves to dance. Because this course is for the beginners, both for Odissi & Creative. We are welcoming all.Will we have Odissi-influenced Creative Dance, or a Creative Dance which is completely different from the Odissi form?
The Creative category is completely a fresh and different form than the traditional Odissi Dance. Any interested candidate can join.I have tried but could not achieve the Tribhanga posture, will I be able to learn the posture in the workshop, or maybe the beginning to the posture?
Absolutely, we will help you with such traditional Odissi postures.
